With 300 motorcades, Jahangir coming to Dhaka to join peace rally

Online Desk: Former Gazipur City Corporation mayor and general secretary of Gazipur metropolitan Awami League Jahangir Alam is joining the party’s peace rally in Dhaka which is scheduled to begin at 3pm on Wednesday.

He is taking part in the rally with thousands of supporters after getting instructions from the party, confirmed Jahangir Alam on Wednesday morning. “I have prepared to join the rally with 300 motorcade after receiving instructions from top leaders of Awami League.”

The rulling Awami League starts its peace rally in the afternoon in front of the south gate of the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque where General Secretary Obaidul Quader is scheduled to speak as the chief guest.
