Gulshan Shopping Centre sealed off, traders stage protest

Online Desk: A mobile court in Dhaka sealed off ‘Gulshan Shopping Centre’ in Gukshan-1 on Thursday as it is found risky. Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Executive Magistrate led the mobile court.
Responding to an allegation of the traders that they did not get enough time, the Magistrate said, “Shopkeepers and traders have got enough time. The building has been sealed off due to high risk.”
Following the market closure notice, traders took to the street, causing traffic in and around the areas including Gulshan and Banani.
