Online Desk: At least 25 people including policemen were injured after a clash between Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and Awami League took plce in Khagrachhari district town on Tuesday. The clash broke out centering the counter-programmes of both the party.
Awami League claimed that 15 of their party men are taking treatment at Sadar Hospital. On the other hand, opposition BNP claimed around 50 leaders and activists were injured in the clash.
Witnesses said, the Awami League leaders and activists were started thronging near municipality gate area from the morning. When the BNP men were crossing the area, the clash broke out between the two parties. Police members are trying to control the situation.
