Online Desk: Three persons sustained burn injuries in gas cylinder explosion of their kitchen while cooking in Narayanganj’s Fatullah on Saturday night.

Injured Mohammad Alam, 35, Md Ramjan Ali, 22, and Md Sifat, 12, are currently undergoing treatment at Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery.

The incident took place at about 11:30pm. The condition of the three injured are critical, said the hospital doctor. Sumon, who took the injured to the hospital, said, “We are working at same company in Fatullah. The explosion occurred while we are cooking at night, leaving three injured.”

The Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery residential doctor Md Torikul Islam said Alam was admitted to the hospital with 72 per cent burns, Ramjan with 58 per cent, and Sifat with 28 per cent burns.
