3 killed on railway crossing in Natore

The Daily Morning Voice Online Desk: Three persons were killed after being hit by a train while crossing the rail tracks at Narayanpur in Natore’s Lalpur upazila on Saturday. The deceased were Montaz Master, 67, Jamir Uddin, 70 and Sathi Begum, 32.

The accident took place around 1:15 pm when the Rajshahi-bound train of ‘Tungipara Express’ from Gopalganj hit the three people while they were crossing the rail line. The trio died on the spot. On information, police recovered the bodies and sent those to a local hospital morgue. Ishwardi Railway Police Station OC Nihir Ranjan Dev said, ” Legal action over the accident will be under process.”
