Online Desk: Idhika Paul, who is fondly called Bangladesh’s “Priyotoma”, made a stunning debut in Dhallywood alongside Shakib Khan in the superhit movie. Earlier on, the actress came to Bangladesh with her family to secretly watch “Priyotoma” on big-screen and has been raving about the wonderful people of Bangladesh.
In an interview with local media, Idhika said two words that have become close to her heart after shooting in Bangladesh: ‘ In Sha Allah’ and ‘Bismillah.’ “They say these words whenever something good happens. It has become so special for me as it has become a habit for me to say them,” revealed the actor.
According to Indian Express Bangla, this didn’t go well with Hindu fanatics as they slammed the actor for her remarks. They started questioning her about being influenced by their culture and neglecting her own religious values.
Some criticised her by saying that many Indian actors have worked in Bangladeshi films. However, none of them have been influenced by them or got engrossed in their culture in such a way. Idhika Paul became popular in Kolkata with Zee Bangla TV series “Rimli” and “Pilu.”
