Online Desk: The Cabinet has given in-principle approval to the draft law to amend the highly debated Digital Security Act (DSA)-2018. It will be changed by the name ‘Cyber Security Act-2023′.
“The Digital Security Act’ is being renamed. Its new name will be ‘Cyber Security Act’. At the same time, changes are being made in many sections of the law.” said Law Minister Anisul Huq on Monday morning.
It was learnt that the proposal has been placed at a Cabinet meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
