Nine more dengue patients die, 2,134 hospitalised in a day

Online Desk: Nine more dengue patients died and 2,197 patients were hospitalised across the country in 24 hours till Sunday morning. Of the nine deaths, six were reported in the capital, according to data from the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Dengue has so far claimed at least 485 lives this year and nearly 102,191 have been infected. The DGHS data showed that 7,686 dengue patients were undergoing treatment at different hospitals across the country.
A total of 94,020 patients have so far been released from hospitals this year. Last year, total 281 people died of dengue.
