Rail employees to go for strike from midnight

Online Desk: Railway running staff are going for a strike from Sunday midnight as the problem regarding their payment of pension and gratuity by adding running allowance to the basic salary are not resolved.

The running staff have been getting this facility for the last 160 years.

But the railway workers have been protesting since August 26, 2020, due to the instructions given by the Ministry of Finance to withdraw this facility.

The railway leaders said that they called the strike as there is no solution even after a long agitation. The workers claimed that they repeatedly protested, withdrew. But now there is no opportunity to do anything.
