Online Desk: Prominent journalist and Gemcon Group Chairman Kazi Shahid Ahmed passed away. He was 83. Kazi Shahid Ahmed breathed his last at 7:15 pm in a hospital in the capital on Monday.
Prominent business entrepreneur, sports organizer and publisher Kazi Shahid Ahmed was born on November 7, 1940 in Jashore.
He served in Bangladesh Army for 14 years after passing engineering. He is one of the founding platoon commanders of Bangladesh Military Academy.
