The Daily Morning Voice Online Desk: Arun Saha, News Editor of the Daily Purbanchal, a regional daily of Khulna, passed away in cardiac arrest in Khulna on Sunday night. He was 60. Arun also the senior members of Khulna Press Club and Journalists Union of Khulna (KUJ) left behind his wife, one son, one daughter, relatives and huge admires to mourn his death.

His body was taken to the Purbanchal Office, Khulna Press Club, Shitalabari and Dharmasova temples from 10am to 1pm today where different socio-cultural organizations and political parties including Awami League and Khulna Press Club paid their rich tributes. He was cremated at Rupsha Cremation Centre in the city this afternoon.

State Minister for Labour and Employment Begum Monnujan Sufian, Mayor of Khulna City Corporation Talukder Abdul Khaleque, Vice-Chancellor of Khulna University Prof Dr Mahmud Hossain, Vice-Chancellor of Khulna University of Engineering and Technology KUET) Prof Dr Mihir Ranjan have expressed their deep shock at the death of senior journalist Arun Saha. They also conveyed their heartfelt sympathy to the members of the bereaved family.
