BTRC lifts ban on Grameenphone SIM card sale

The Daily Morning Voice Online Desk: Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) has lifted the ban on Grameenphone SIM card sale. The ban was finally lifted on Monday night, six months after its imposition. Yasir Azman, CEO of Grameenphone, said on Tuesday morning, “We have received the letter about withdrawal of the ban on SIM sales.” BTRC authorities imposed the ban last June due to the operator’s failure to provide quality service.
