Online Desk: Bus movement on Rajbari-Dhaka route remained suspended following a feud with Shyamoli Paribahan owners. Bus-Truck Owners Association is not allowing any bus to leave from Dhaka to Rajbari.

Abdur Razzak Liton, General Secretary of Rajbari District Bus Owners Group, confirmed the suspension of bus services on the route in the morning.

“Two buses belonging to Shyamoli Paribahan are used to run on the route. We had no objection that. But on September 3, Shyamoli Paribahan suddenly introduced another daytime trip on this route. If they run buses like this, our business will suffer. That’s why we intercepted the bus for that day and sent it back to Dhaka. Then we ask the authorities of Shyamoli Paribahan to discuss with us (Rajbari Bus Owners Group) and we will fix their trip, then they can run buses peacefully. But they did not discuss anything with us,” he said.
