Online Desk: The World Cup, the biggest stage of world cricket, is knocking at the door. It kicks off on October 5 with the match between England and New Zealand.
Bangladesh is currently staying in India to perform in the World Cup. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed her expectations about the World Cup mission of Bangladesh.

“I always expect that we will show better performance in the World Cup,” she said while giving an interview to the US-based media the Voice of America.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is a big fan of Bangladesh cricket. She often encouraged players coming to stadiums. Besides, she always communicates with them.

She said, “I always communicate with the players. I am always concerned about them. I had talked to them even before I left the country.”

“I want to tell the players that may the honor of Bangladesh be maintained. They will execute all of their plans utilizing their strength and play with sincerity – that’s what I want,” she hoped.
The PM said Bangladesh will bring a good result if the players make good use of their strengths.
The Tigers will face Afghanistan in their first match of the World Cup on October 7 in Dharamshala.
