Online Desk: After a video showing a meal served aboard a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight emerged on TikTok, there have been mixed reactions over the alleged poor quality of the food. The video, which was initially published on TikTok with the username @ishxn. a99, has since made its way to other social media platforms and has gone viral, reports Hindustan Times. It shows an omelet with a few chilies and mushrooms on the side. A croissant and a dish of fruit are also seen nearby. “Biman Airlines, is this the worst plane food breakfast?” says a text overlay on the video.

Another post featuring the meal on Instagram generated over 51,000 views within a few hours since it was posted. The post has also received over 2,000 likes. Many reacted to the food in the post’s comments section. “That food is coming from ‘Newrest,'” one person stated. “That’s the catering company. It’s trash and it seems they are the ones lacking with quality.” “Biman doesn’t do first class. Its business class isn’t much better than the economy, the food is still awful, just larger portions,” another netizen added. “Bring your own food brother or pay for first class. Everyone knows that airline food is not very good,” read a third comment. “As long as you get to your destination that’s all it matters, you can then explore all the nice places in Bangladesh. Don’t get discouraged by plane food,” the fourth comment read.

Others commented that the food on Biman Bangladesh Airlines isn’t all that awful, the report also said. “Their chicken pulau is delicious though,” said one user. “Looks fine to me. You’re expecting 5 Michelen stars at Biman, that’s the problem,” another person wrote.
