Online Desk: Rain in Dharamshala has delayed the start of the ICC ODI World Cup match between South Africa and the Netherlands at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium on Tuesday.

The toss was scheduled to take place at 2:00pm Bangladesh Standard Time but had to be pushed back due to rain.

The weather has been gloomy since the morning in Dharamshala with some occasional drizzles.

The toss had been initially postponed by half-an-hour but 15 minutes before the toss, the drizzle returned in Dharamshala.

South Africa are coming into the match in red-hot form, with convincing victories over Sri Lanka and Australia.

The Netherlands, who are taking part in their first World Cup since 2011, are winless after their first two matches, having lost to Pakistan and New Zealand.
