Online Desk: Met office on Friday said a low-pressure area formed over the south-west and adjoining south-east Bay of Bengal.
The low-pressure is likely to intensify and turn into a depression which will result in rain in the different regions of the country from Monday or Tuesday, the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) said in a forecast.
It said the highest rainfall will occur in the southern region of the country.
Day temperature may remain nearly unchanged and night temperature may fall slightly across Bangladesh, it added.
