Online Desk: Things are not going well for Bangladesh in the ongoing ICC World Cup as the Tigers lost three of their four matches so far.
With a thigh injury ruling skipper Shakib Al Hasan out of their last game against India on Thursday, now it has been learnt that pacer Taskin Ahmed is suffering from an injury.
According to sources, Taskin has been struggling with his bowling shoulder and has played the first three matches by managing the pain. He did not feature against India.
Much like Shakib’s injury where the team management did not provide any specific detail, there has been no official statement regarding Taskin’s injury.
The pacer, who was expected to lead the Tigers’ pace attack, struggled in all three matches and couldn’t complete his quota of 10 overs in any of those matches.
The Tigers will start training from tomorrow after a couple of days’ rest. Bangladesh will take on South Africa in Mumbai on Tuesday.
