Online Desk: Pakistan skipper Babar Azam won the toss and opted to bat against Afghanistan in Match 22 of World Cup 2023 in Chennai on Monday. Both sides have made one change each in their playing XI as Shadab Khan replaces Mohammad Nawaz, who has fever. Afghanistan, on the other hand, have banked upon spin and added an extra spinner as Noor Ahmad comes in for Fazalhaq Farooqi in the XI.

After enduring tough defeats in their previous two encounters, Babar Azam-led Pakistan will look to return to winning ways. Afghanistan too head into the contest on the back of a 149-run mauling against New Zealand and will be looking for their second win in the tournament.
