Online Desk: Three people were killed in Cox’s Bazar district after wall and tres collapsed on them when the Cyclone Hamoon crossed Bangladesh on Tuesday night.

Of the deceased, two were identified as Abdul Khaleq, 40, resident of ward no 7 of the municipality; and Haradhon Dev, 45, of Moheshkhali upazila.

Another one killed in Chakaria upazila after tree fell on him.

Moheshkhali upazila health officer Mahfuzul Haque said, “A person named Haradhan was brought to the hospital as a tree fell on him near his house in Moheshkhali union on Tuesday night. But he succumbed to his injuries before arrival.”

Cox’s Bazar municipality mayor Mahbub Rahman Chowdhury said, “Abdul Khaleq died after a wall collapsed on him at night during the storm.”
