Prof Maksud Kamal takes charge as new VC of Dhaka University

Online Desk: Professor Dr ASM Maksud Kamal has taken charge as the 29th vice chancellor of Dhaka University.
He took charge at the VC office of the university at 9:00 am, Saturday.
At the time, Professor Dr Mohammad Akhtaruzzaman, the outgoing VC of the university, and incumbent pro-VC (admin) Professor Dr Muhammad Samad, along with other faculty members, welcomed the new VC with flowers.
After assuming office in the morning, Maksud along with other teachers and officials, placed a wreath at the memorial of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Dhanmondi 32 in Dhaka.
