Online Desk: With only three days left to be held the grand rally of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Khulna Circuit House Ground on November 13, it has turned into a city of festivity with posters, banners, festoons, and billboards elaborating various development projects.
Arcades (Gates), decoration with tinier lighting have covered the streets, road islands and highways in the city and adjacent areas.
A festive mood centering the grand rally has gripped this crowded industrial city with slogan-chanting marchers on various developments including the Padma Bridge.
Central Awami League leaders including joint secretary AFM Bahauddin Nasim visited the Circuit House Ground and stage where Sheikh Hasina, also the President of Awami League, will address the grand public rally on November 13. Organising Secretary S M Kamal Hossain, B M Mozammel Haque, Khulna City Mayor Talukder Abdul Khaleque, among others, were present.
Talking to Journalists, ABM Bahuddin Nasim said, the large stage is being prepared like a boat and the roof of the stage will be designed with the shape of the Padma Bridge at a length of over 120 feet.
KCC Mayor Talukder Abdul Khaleque said, leaders and activists of AL and its associate bodies are carrying out the campaign with leaflets, holding meeting and bringing out procession every day to make the grand rally a total success.
