The Daily Morning Voice Online Desk: A bone-chilling cold with dense fog has been disrupting daily activities of the people in the western district Chuadanga. The lowest temperature was recorded at 6.3 degree Celsius in the district a 6am on Thursday, according to Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD). This is the lowest in the country till this season.
A mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over the district and it may continue. Rakibul Hasan, in-charge of Chuadanga Weather Observatory Centre, the temperature may drop more after January 16. The hospitals in the district are overwhelmed with patients with cold-related diseases.
