2 Bogura BNP leaders shown arrested being ‘picked up’

Online Desk: Bogura district BNP general secretary Ali Azgar Talukder Hena and Swechchhasebak Dal's former convener Mazedur Rahman Jewel have been shown arrested after being picked by detectives. Detective Branch (DB) of police's OC Mostafiz Hasan confirmed the news on Wednesday morning. At about 3am, 'a team of DB' picked up the leaders from their respective homes, alleged the party's district president and municipal mayor Rezaul Karim Badsha. At about 3am, ‘a team of DB’ picked up the leaders from their respective homes, alleged the party’s district president and municipal mayor Rezaul Karim Badsha.

Meanwhile OC Mostafiz said, “Several case were filed at Sadar Police Station over clashes between police and the partymen on Tuesday. Arrested two were accused in the cases and involved directly for the attack on police. They will be produced in court after interrogation.”
