The Daily Morning Voice Online Desk: Two persons received bullet injuries being caught in exchange of fire between two rival groups of traders at a restaurant at Gulshan-1 in Dhaka on Sunday (January 15, 2023). The incident happened at Gloria Jeans Coffee’s Bangladesh at about 4:00pm. It is learnt that two sides fired at each other centring the financial transactions. Receiving information, police went there and detained two persons.

Contacted, Gulshan Division’s deputy commissioner Abdul Ahad confirned about the exchange of firing between two rival groups of businessmen at Gloria Jeans Coffee’s Restaurant.  “We detained two persons going to the spot after being informed about the incident. They are now in police custody. The legality of their firearms, names and addresses are now being examined,” he said. Ahad primarily thinks that the exchange of fire happened between two rival groups over the transactions of money.
