No threat of attacking Metro Rail, scanners, archways to be installed: DMP

Online Desk: Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP)’s additional police commissioner (Crimes and Operations) Dr. Kh. Mahid Uddin has said there is no information or threat to attacking the metro rail. However, there will be handle detectors.

“We request the authorities concerned to install luggage scanners and archways. We hope that necessary steps will be taken as soon as possible,” he said replying to queries of reporters after inspecting the security systems of Metro Rail from Uttara to Agargaon in the capital on Thursday (December 21).
