Online Desk: 62 organizations under the banner of Samonnay Parishad, a Trade Union, on Saturday paid homage to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing wreaths at his mazar (mausoleum) at Tungipara in Gopalganj.

Organizations leaders led by Samonnay Parishad convener Alauddin Mia and Rajuk Sramik Karmachari League president Abul Bashar paid homage to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing wreaths at his mazar in the afternoon on the occasion of Sheikh Hasina’s reelection as the Prime Minister for the fifth time. Later, they offered special doa and munajat seeking eternal peace of the departed souls of Bangabandhu, the martyrs of the August 15 carnage and three million martyrs who embraced martyrdom in the Liberation War.

After placing wreaths, the convener and member secretary of Samonnay Parishad signed the visitor’s book kept at the administrative building of the mausoleum of Bangabandhu.

Member Secretary Khandaker Nazrul Islam, Rajuk Sramik Karmachari League president Abul Bashar, Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation Sramik Karmachari League president Md Mashiur Rahman and thousands of leaders and activists of 62 organisations under Samonnay Parishad were present at the time.
