Online Desk: Five personnel of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) were injured as a military vehicle carrying them overturned on Dhaka-Chattagram Highway at Mirsarai end of Chattogarm district on Saturday.

Though the identities of the injured could not be known, there were three military and two civil officers.

Sources said the vehicle from Chattogram’s airbase was heading towards Noakhali’s Sonaimuri with the BAF officers in the morning.

The vehicle overturned due to the wet conditions of the highway and suddenly took a break in front of Mirsarai veterinary hospital, they said.

Sohel Sarkar, in-Charge of Jorarganj Highway police station, confirmed the matter, saying that the BAF officers received treatment from a private hospital in Mirsarai.
