The Daily Morning Voice Online Desk: The ruling Awami League is set to bring out a “victory procession” in Dhaka this afternoon, celebrating the country’s 52nd Victory Day. The nation yesterday celebrated the Victory Day, the most joyous day when the nation emerged victorious after a nine-month war in 1971 at the cost of the supreme sacrifice of three million martyrs and the honour of nearly half a million mothers and sisters.
The Awami League’s victory procession starts around 2:30pm from Suhrawardy Udyan, which would parade roads in Shahbagh, Elephant Road and Mirpur Road before ending at Bangabandhu Bhaban on Dhanmondi Rd-32, said a party press release.
