Online Desk:  Opener Tanzid Hasan Tamim smashed a brilliant century as his team Chattogram Challengers posted a mammoth total of 192 runs before Khulna Tigers.

The youngster solely hit the Khulna bowlers around the ground while making 116 runs from 65 balls with eight sixes and eight fours in the 39th game of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram on Tuesday.

That has been his first century in T20 cricket and also the highest individual score in the ongoing tournament so far. Among all centuries in BPL, that is the fifth highest individual score while third among Bangladeshis. Earlier, Tamim Iqbal and Sabbir Rahman hit 141 and 122 runs respectively.

In addition, Tom Bruce added 23-ball 36 to put the team on 192/4 at the end of 20 overs.

Wayne Parnell, Nasum Ahmed, Jason Holder and Mukidul Islam got one wicket apiece for Khulna.
