Online Desk: A young man has been found hanging and his wife tied up at their house in Tangail’s Ghatail.

The deceased was Ahad Ali, 30. He worked at RFL Company at Khorabor area under Tangail municipality.

Police said quoting local people that Ahad and his wife locked into an altercation on Friday noon. Later, his wife went to a nearby house.

Ahad’s house owner Abdul Alim’s wife Mala Khatun said they used to live at their old house near to this one.

“Hearing some noise from Ahad’s house, a man came to our house on Friday evening and informed us the matter. Then we rushed to that house and found the door of Ahad’s house was locked from inside. Getting no response from inside, we with some other local people broke open the door. Then saw Ahad was hanging with the ceiling fan and his wife Mili Khatun’s legs, hands body were tied up with rope,” she said.

Ahad was rushed to Upazila Health Complex where he was declared dead.
