Woman footballer Razia dies from childbirth complications

Online Desk: Razia Khatun, former national women’s team footballer, died from childbirth complications at her own residence in Satkhira district.
She was only 23.
Razia breathed her last at 4:00 am due to excessive bleeding after childbirth, said a Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) press release.
In a message of condolence, BFF president Kazi Mohammad Salahuddin, its senior vice president, vice presidents, all executive members, general secretary, standing committee members and employees of the BFF expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Razia.
They also prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
