President mourns death of ICT Chief Prosecutor Ghulam Arieff Tipoo

Online Desk: President Mohammed Shahabuddin has expressed profound shock at the death of liberation war organiser, language movement hero and chief prosecutor of International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) Ghulam Arieff Tipoo.
In a condolence message on Friday, the President said that the nation will forever remember Tipoo ‘s contributions to ensure justice of war criminals and establish rule of law in the country.
He also said that the country suffered an irreparable loss at the death of the Ekushey Padak awardee in the arena of law.
The president prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.
