Online Desk: Biman Bangladesh Airlines hosted a “Meet the Press” and Iftar Mahfil in Naples of Italy on Friday to promote its Rome-Dhaka flight.

Electronic and print media representatives at the meet were briefed on various aspects of the Dhaka-Rome-Dhaka flight. After the press conference, an Iftar Mahfil was held, according to a press release.

Special prayers were offered for the success of the Dhaka-Rome-Dhaka flight.

Biman Bangladesh Airlines requested the support of all attendees in promoting the Dhaka-Rome-Dhaka flight and increasing passenger numbers, said the release.

After the event, the Public Relations Department of Biman Bangladesh Airlines interacted with Bangladeshi expatriates living in Naples and distributed leaflets and brochures.

Sajjadul Hassan MP, Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism; Farida Yasmin MP, President of the National Press Club; Mokammel Hossain, Secretary of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, Shafiul Azam, Managing Director and CEO of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, were present at the time, among others.
