Online Desk: The 16th edition of Bangladesh Denim Expo began at the international Convention City, Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka on Monday.
Visitors were experiencing the essence of denim culture at Bangladesh Denim Expo, where fashion meets sustainability.
In this edition, more than 60 exhibitors from 11 countries were participating include Bangladesh, India, China, Pakistan, Turkey, Italy, France, Spain, Switzerland, Vietnam, Japan etc.
Exhibitors were showcasing their latest innovations, from sustainable fabrics to cutting-edge designs, this event highlighting the diversity of the denim industry.
“Reimagine” is the theme of the 16th edition. This means that re-envisioning the industry is driven by relentless innovation and the seamless integration of digitalization. Together, we can reshape the denim landscape and embrace the power of technology,” said Textiles and Jute Minister Jahangir Kabir Nanak while speaking as the chief guest at the event.
Irma van Dueren, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Bangladesh, Siddiqur Rahman, former President of BGMEA, S.M. Mannan (Kochi), President of BGMEA, Ziaur Rahman, Regional Head, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Ethiopia, H&M, Mostafiz Uddin, Founder & CEO, Bangladesh Apparel Exchange and MD. Mohiuddin Rubel, Managing Director, Bangladesh Apparel Exchange & Director, BGMEA were present as special guests at the function.
“Trend Zone” where visitors can find out the hottest denim trends & innovative products and able to discover the upcoming trends in the denim fabrics, styling and finishing techniques available in Bangladesh which is inspiring and helping to stay ahead of the fashion curve.
