Online Desk: President M Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday expressed deep shock and sorrow at the loss of lives and damage of properties in the terrible earthquake in Turkey and Syria. In a condolence message, the Head of State prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved families.

The President offered all possible assistance from the Government and people of Bangladesh, saying, “Bangladesh Government and its people are always by the side of the disaster victims of Turkey and Syria.” In another condolence message, the Prime Minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed souls and expressed deep sympathy to the bereaved families.

She said that the government and people of Bangladesh are standing by the side of Turkey and Syria during this crisis. Sheikh Hasina assured all kinds of cooperation on behalf of her government and wished for quick recovery of the wounded people.
