Online Desk : Some long-distance buses left Dhaka‘s Sayedabad bus terminal for Sylhet, Barishal and Chattogram on Wednesday morning. But the pressure of passengers is low. Some students were seen at the terminal. They were returning their respective village homes as educational institutions are remain closed. At 9am, three buses–one for Chattogram and two for Barishal–left the Sayedabaad bus terminal. Cumilla-bound Tisha Paribahan supervisor Md Shanto said the bus started moving since 6am.
The bus services across the country came to a halt from Thursday (July 18) following the ‘complete shutdown’ enforced by the quota reform protesters.
