Online Desk : The Public Service Commission on Monday postponed viva voce of the 44th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) for an indefinite period. PSC decided this in a meeting this afternoon, an official who attended the meeting confirmed to Jago News. Earlier, PSC on July 21 postponed the viva voce, which began on May 8, amid the violence centring the quota reform movement and now suspended rest verbal tests for an indefinite period.
The results of the written examinations of the 44th BCS were published on April 3, with around 11,732 candidates came out successfully. Through this BCS, the government will recruit 1,710 candidates to different cadre posts – 250 to administration, 50 to police, 10 to foreign, 776 to education, 30 to audit, and 10 to information.
