Online Desk  :  The government has decided to relax the ongoing curfew from 7:00am to 8:00pm for the next four days (Wednesday to Saturday) in Dhaka, Narayanganj, Narsingdi and Gazipur.
Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal made the announcement at his secretariat office in Dhaka on Tuesday. He said curfew was imposed as violence took a serious turn during the quota reform movement. As the situation in the country is getting normalising gradually, the government has decided to extend the curfew relax time-limit. Curfew will remain up to 13 hours in Dhaka, Narayanganj, Gazipur and Narsingdi.

Earlier, a meeting of seven ministers and state minister was held at the Ministry of Home Affairs with the Home Minister in the chair. Chiefs of different law enforcing agencies and their representatives were present at the meeting. Following the several hours of meeting, the Home Minister briefed journalists about the outcome of it.
