Cases, filed to suppress mass protests, to be withdrawn in 3 days

Online Desk : Cases filed between July 1 and August 5, aimed to suppress the recent mass protests of students and citizens, will be withdrawn within the next three working days. The decision was taken during the maiden meeting of Asif Nazrul, adviser to the ministry of law, justice and parliamentary affairs; on Saturday with other officials of the law and justice division.

This information was shared in a press release by the law ministry. The ministry also decided to take action against those involved in the killings during the students’ movement.
