Online Desk : Adviser to the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief Affairs Farooq-e-Azam said on Saturday that the flood victims will be rehabilitated and it should be . “Numerous residents of Noakhali have suffered due to the flooding… We are committed to rehabilitating the flood victims,” he stated during a discussion held at Noakhali Circuit House on Friday night, where he served as the chief guest.
“Bangladesh is a nation full of potential, and it will progress with unity of its youth. During one of the most severe floods in our history, the youth led the way in uniting the entire nation. Alongside them, various institutions and voluntary organizations have also stepped forward to support the flood victims across the country,” he added. The discussion, focused on managing the flood crisis and coordinating relief efforts, was chaired by the district’s Deputy Commissioner, Dewan Mahbubur Rahman.
Others present at the event included Major Rifat Anwar, Civil Surgeon Dr. Masum Iftekhar, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Sharmin Ara, Additional Superintendent of Police (Finance and Administration) Bijaya Sen, and students from the student-people movement.
