Online Desk : Four people were killed and four others injured after a microbus collided with a Dhaka-bound covered van in Narsingdi on Saturday night. The accident happened at about 9:30PM in front of Narsingdi regional passport office at Dogria area on the Dhaka-Sylhet highway.
The deceased were identified as Tanzina Jerin, 24, wife of Imran Miah of Abdullahpur village under Charsubuddhi union; Kamrunnahar, 35, wife of Anwar Hossain and her son Sajid, 12; and Sabiha, 14, daughter of Saddam Hossain. Imran and Tanzina were newly married couple.
According to the family members, Imran, his wife Tanzina and others were returning their Narsingdi home from Tanzina’s sisters house in Dhaka attending an invitation there on Saturday night. When their microbus reached Dogria area of the Dhaka-Sylhet highway, a Dhaka-bound cement-laden covered van hit the vehicle, leaving Tanzina, Kamrunnahar, Sabiha and Sajid dead on the spot.
The injured were sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) with the help of Fire Srvice and local people.
