Four people die as bus hits microbus in Cumilla

Online Desk : Four people, including a woman and a baby boy, died and two others received injuries as a bus hit a microbus in Cumilla’s Chauddagram early Friday. The deceased were identified as Mamun, 50, a resident of South Lakshmipur village under Motobi union in Sadar upazila of Feni, his mother-in-law Majeda Begum, 70, his five-month-old baby boy Saymon, and the microbus driver, Alauddin Hajari, 27.
Quoting locals, Mia Bazar Highway police station’s officer-in-charge, Md Rais Uddin, said a bus of ‘Star Line Paribahan’ hit a microbus from behind on the road the Dhaka-Chattogram highway in Nanakara area, leaving four passengers of the latter vehicle dead on the spot and two others injured.
