Bangladeshi fisherman shot dead by Myanmar Navy

Online Desk : A Bangladeshi fisherman was killed and three others injured as members of Myanmar Navy opened fire on them in the River Naf in Teknaf of Cox’s Bazar on Thursday. The victim was identified as Md Osman, son of Bacchu Miah from Konarpara area of Shapuree Island.

Bullets fired from Myanmar hit a fishing trawler in the Bay, approximately 50 kilometers south of the Saint Martin’s Island, leaving Osman dead, said Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) of Teknaf Md. Adnan Chowdhury.
