Online Desk  :   The High Court on Monday granted anticipatory bail to senior Supreme Court lawyer and human rights activist ZI Khan Panna in a attempt to murder case filed with Khilgaon Police Station. He will remain on bail till submission of the probe report by police, according to the court order. An HC bench of Justice AKM Asaduzzaman and Justice Syed Enayet Hossain passed this order following a petition filed by ZI Khan Panna seeking bail in the case.

Lawyers Ahsanul Karim, Ali Ahmed Khokon, Mohammad Shishir Monir and Mohammad Hossain were present in the court on behalf of Panna. Earlier on Sunday, ZI Khan Panna submitted a petition seeking bail in the case. Md Baker filed the case with Khilgaon Police Station on October 17 on charge of shooting his son Ahadul Islam during the recent mass movement on July 19.
