Online Desk  :   The Election Commission (EC) of Bangladesh has announced that the final voter list, which will include those turning 18 by January 1, 2025, will be published on March 2. This decision was made on Monday during the first meeting of the EC, chaired by Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Nasir Uddin, at the Election Commission Secretariat in Agargaon.

Election Commissioner retired Brigadier General Abul Fazal Md Sanaullah shared the news during a briefing following the meeting on Monday afternoon. He also revealed that, starting in March, the EC will conduct door-to-door visits to gather information in an effort to ensure the accuracy of the voter list.

All Election Commissioners including Anwarul Islam Sarker, Abdur Rahman Masud, and Begum Tahmida Ahmed were also present at the meeting.
