Online Desk  :   Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar is set to visit Bangladesh. He will visit the country next month on a state invitation. Pakistan’s news outlet, The Express Tribune, shared the news today (Jan 3). According to the media outlet, Pakistani Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar is set to visit Bangladesh next month, marking the first visit by a Pakistani foreign minister to the country since 2012.

Earlier, in a press conference on Thursday (Jan 2), Dar announced that he will visit Dhaka in February at the invitation of Bangladesh’s Foreign Affairs Adviser. The last visit by a Pakistani foreign minister to Bangladesh was in 2012, when Hina Rabbani Khar visited Dhaka to extend an invitation to then-Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for the D-8 Summit, a gathering of eight developing Muslim countries.
