Online Desk : Students of Dhaka University (DU) have thrown shoes on the photos of the central leaders of the banned Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), the student wing of the Awami League, marking the 77th founding anniversary of the Chhatra League. Students, under the banner of ‘DU Students’ Rights Watch,’ observed the ‘Hate Throw’ programme at Raju Sculpture in front of the TSC on Saturday.
As part of the programme, students have thrown shoes on the pictures of the central leaders of the BCL. Earlier on Friday, DU Students’ Rights Watch’ announced the programme on its Facebook page.
