Online Desk  :   Former food minister Advocate Qamrul Islam, former state minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak and former inspector general of police (IGP) Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun have been shown arrested in fresh cases. Qamrul has been shown arrested in a murder case filed with the Lalbagh Police Station, Mamun was shown arrested in two murder cases filed with Bhashantek Police Station and Jatrabari Police Station respectively.

Besides, Palak was shown arrested in a case filed with Kafrul Police Station under Cyber Security Act. Dhaka Additional Metropolitan Magistrate Ziadur Rahman passed the orders as police produced the trio before the court and pleaded to show them arrested in these cases.  Later, the accused were sent back to jail.
