Online Desk : After around 10 hours’ of protest, students of Government Madrasa-e-Alia have left Bakshibazar street in the capital. Now, vehicles movement in the area became normal which was suspended since Wednesday night following the blockade. The judge of the Metropolitan Special Tribunal-2 of Dhaka was seen to enter the court after the protest ended. The protesting students left the road with a condition that they will get an opportunity of discussing the issue with the judge.
The students have been staging protest since Wednesday night demanding the relocation of the makeshift court set up on their premises for holding the trial of the BDR carnage. Police were able to remove them from the road at 11AM. The protesters also set fire to the makeshift court at an early hours. For this, the scheduled today’s court proceedings could not take place.
